• How do I join a quest?

  Open the app, tap Join a quest, enter the code your organizer gave you, type a name, pick your team and tap Join. You do not need an account.

• I am an organizer. How do I sign in?

  Tap I organize quests and enter your email. We send you a 6-digit code. There is no password.

• The code does not arrive.

  Check your spam folder. Wait one minute, then tap Send a new code.

• Why can’t I upload a photo from my gallery?

  To keep quests fair, proof photos can only be taken with the in-app camera.

• Does the organizer see where I walk?

  No. Your location is only used to check that your team is at the step’s place, and the raw trace is deleted right after the check.

• How do I delete my data?

  Players: your name and photos are deleted 30 days after the quest ends. You can also write to privacy@beaconstep.app to have them deleted sooner.

  Organizers: write to privacy@beaconstep.app from your account email and we delete your account and company data. A delete button in the app comes before the first App Store release.
